The African American Economic Development Association of REALTORS and Affiliates (AAEDARA) is an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the community. Our mission is to reach out to the community members to increase homeownership, to establish a foundation to assist youth and to provide resources for the elderly.
AAEDARA'S Mission Statement
To enrich people's lives, establish support by increasing knowledge through; mentoring, collaboration among its members and increasing home ownership in the African-American community.
AAEDARA'S Vision
Educate, and Elevate the African-American economic position in the American Society.
Goal and Objectives
- Unite the Real Estate Professionals for creating better relations among the members, and with the general public.
- To educate the general public in transacting business with professionals who have agreed to observe the ethical standards maintained by the association for a maximum contribution to the community.
- Maintain and promote the Board's Code of Ethics in order to elevate the standards of conduct of the profession, and build better relations among the Real Estate Community and the public.
- Assist in development and economic growth of the community by increasing homeownership. Educate, mentor, and encourage the youths in the community that have an interest in a career in real estate.
Philosophy
AAEDARA organization embraces three philosophical principles: * People desire to live successfully. * Learning is a continuous process. * Networking is key to survival.
